We work with corporate executives, managers and staff in financial services, healthcare, legal, and non-profit organizations.
As a consultant, Adam has custom designed solutions to address issues in the areas of team effectiveness, strategic planning, conflict management, and leadership capacity for financial institutions, law firms, hospitals and non-profits.
As an ICF certified executive coach, he has conducted high performance 360 degree feedback assessment followed by individual, and team coaching. Clients have reported higher levels of performance in the areas of professional presence, strategic career management, conflict resolution, and leadership skills.
As a speaker, Adam has presented on a variety of leadership topics to meetings and conferences such as the Association for Continuing Legal Education, the Columbia Business School Alumni Club, the New York City Bar Association, the 11th Annual Quality Care Community Conference and the United Nations 7th Annual Organization and Career Development Conference in Cophenhagen.
As an educator, Adam is mentor coach and examiner for the Columbia Coaching Certification Program and an adjunct faculty member at the Paul McGhee Division of New York University. He is also one of a select group of faculty at the American Management Association to teach their three day program, “Responding to Conflict” as well as “Making the Transition to Management,” an on-boarding program for new leaders.
Adam’s educational background includes a master’s degree in organizational psychology and change management from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in business management from Tulane University. He holds a Certificate in Conflict Resolution from Columbia University, a Certificate of Mediation from the Institute for Mediation and Conflict Resolution, and a Professional Coaching Certification from the International Coaching Federation.
His other interests include music composition and performance. In his early 20′s, he toured Europe performing in clubs, concerts, and music festivals, including the International Music Festival in Basel, Switzerland and a concert in Pesaro, Italy.
Suzanne Aptman, MBA has over ten years experience as an organizational consultant, trainer, and leadership coach. At Pfizer, she worked as a project/process management consultant to ensure smooth collaboration within cross-functional teams. At American Express, she developed the project management infrastructure to support the implementation of a campaign designed to engage new customers through statistical modeling and consultative selling. At Merrill Lynch and Chubb Pharmaceutical she designed and facilitated coaching and communication skills workshops for managers. She earned her MBA at Columbia Business School and her formal coach training with Corporate Coach University. She also serves on the Board of the Columbia Business School Alumni Club of New York.
Kathleen Galek, Ph.D. has designed and facilitated communication programs in hospital settings since 1995. At the NYU Medical Center, where she spent four years as a clinician and researcher, she studied the impact of communication on physical health and co-facilitated workshops on improving methods of delivering positive feedback. She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and an MA in Research Psychology from NYU. She now consults to HIP Insurance Company, the Healthcare Chaplaincy, and collaborates with researchers at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on issues relating to the emotional needs of patients.
Jennifer Babcock, Psy.D. has over ten years of training and counseling experience in organizations and non-profit institutions. She earned both an MA in Organizational Psychology and an MA in Counseling from Columbia University and completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology at George Washington University. Her teaching, assessment, and therapeutic experience include work at Seton Hall University, Polytechnic University, Teachers College: Columbia Outpatient Clinic, and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia.
Deepak Lalwani, M.A. has worked as a talent management and organization performance professional for over eight years. As a Senior Consultant at Accenture, he worked in public sector, financial services, and insurance industries focusing on change management, talent development, and human resources. He also spent several years in the healthcare industry as a manager at Wellpoint (Empire BlueCross BlueShield). He received his MA in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and currently teaches a course in management at New York University (NYU).
Benita Wilson, M.A. has designed and conducted communication and training programs in corporate and non-profit settings since 1997. As a Senior Trainer for Lee Hecht Harrison, a global career development company, she leads career coaching sessions and two-day career development workshops for managers and senior executives at such firms as Morgan Stanley, Met Life, CSFB, and AOL Time Warner. As a board certified counselor, she facilitates individual and group counseling for The Open Door, Urban Pathways, and The Olivieri Center in New York City. She received her MA in Counseling from Webster University in Charleston, SC.
